mousesports and CSGL joined the DreamHack Masters Malmö team list following victories over G2 and FlipSid3, respectively, in the first European closed qualifier.
16 teams stood at the beginning in the first closed qualifier for DreamHack Masters Malmö, taking place from April 12-17.
As it often is with online competition, upsets happen and this tournament was no exception, as Dignitas fell to CSGL in the quarter-finals.
The Poles went on to play FlipSid3, who got to the deciding stage following three-map wins versus Preparation and Ancient. CSGL came out on top of an overtime-worthy de_train, as well as a convincing de_cache.

G2 played surprisingly close series with eSuba as well as CPH Wolves before getting matched to Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and company. MOUZ made short work of Chosen5 and noKappa (ex-Vexed) on their way to the last-four.
In the semi-finals, the Germany-based team lost de_inferno in overtime, came back from a 3-12 deficit on de_dust2 and advanced over the French-Belgian squad after a 16-13 de_cache.
